Welcome to the Graduate Recruitment section
The Bank

"There is a great deal of responsibility attached to my job. On my previous project our team's primary role was the development and support of the country's banking and payment systems. This means there is an onus on us to produce quality systems as the impact of problems in these systems can have far reaching consequences."
Andy Moss, IT Division

For graduates with a strong interest in IT, we provide the opportunity to be involved with projects and IT systems which are fundamental to the effective operation of the UK's financial system.

IT in the Bank is wholly driven by the business needs of the organisation. The main function of the IT Division is to develop, maintain and run IT applications to support the Bank's operation, as well as providing an IT consultancy service to enable business change and process improvement.

IT graduates will initially become familiar with the Bank's programming languages and IT infrastructure, while working on project teams which analyse and develop IT solutions for the business.

As an IT graduate, you will join our award-winning Analyst Career Training (ACT) programme (Best Graduate Development Programme and Best of the Best Awards, Association of Graduate Recruiters 2008). You will also attend IT training courses and work with a team of experienced IT professionals. This will help you to develop the skills and experience you need to succeed in your IT career.

We are now open for applications for 2009.  Please click here to apply.
